Unlike traditional clinics that often rush visits or treat symptoms in isolation, Bloom offers comprehensive, integrative care that treats the whole woman—body, mind, and hormones.
Here’s what sets us apart:
We Listen—And We Spend Time With You
Our visits are longer, more thoughtful, and built around conversation. We take the time to hear your story, understand your concerns, and co-create a plan that works for your lifestyle and goals.
We Treat the Root Cause
We combine conventional medicine with functional medicine testing to go deeper. Whether it’s fatigue, mood swings, infertility, or skin issues—we ask why it's happening, not just what to prescribe.

Bloom Women’s Health uses a membership-based model because we believe women deserve more time, more access, and more meaningful care than the traditional healthcare system allows.
In most insurance-based clinics, appointments are rushed, providers are overbooked, and care is reactive—not proactive. At Bloom, we’ve created a better way. Our membership model prioritizes quality over quantity—giving you longer visits, direct communication with your provider, and a more personalized experience from start to finish.
Here’s why we chose this model:

As a member, you get secure messaging access to your provider. Whether you have a follow-up question, need support with a supplement protocol, or just want to check in—we’re here for you between appointments, not just during them.Care That’s Rooted in Relationship
We believe healthcare should feel personal. By building long-term relationships with our patients, we’re able to understand your body’s patterns, track changes over time, and offer care that evolves with you.More Comprehensive, Holistic Care
With the freedom of a direct-pay model, we can offer functional medicine testing, lifestyle support, hormone optimization, and preventative strategies without the limitations of insurance reimbursement guidelines.Transparent Pricing & No Surprise Bills
You’ll always know what you’re paying for. Our membership tiers are clearly outlined, and there are no hidden fees, no co-pays, and no insurance barriers blocking your care. The membership model puts your health back where it belongs—in your hands, supported by a provider who truly knows you.

We do not bill insurance for medical visits at Bloom Women’s Health.
Bloom operates on a direct-pay model, which means we do not contract with insurance companies. This allows us to provide longer, more personalized visits, transparent pricing, and care that’s truly tailored to your needs—without the limitations and time constraints of traditional insurance-based practices.
Why we don’t bill insurance:
We believe your care should be determined by you and your provider, not by insurance codes or coverage restrictions.
Our model gives us the freedom to offer comprehensive hormone testing, functional medicine, and longer visits without being limited by insurance reimbursement rules.
You’ll never get a surprise bill, denial letter, or rushed 7-minute visit.
Can I still use my insurance?
Yes, in some ways:
You can use your HSA or FSA cards to pay for visits, labs, and supplements.
We’re happy to provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Many of our patients still use their insurance for imaging, prescriptions, and routine lab work when possible.
Our goal is to provide transparent, empowering, and high-quality care without insurance interference. If you have questions about how this model works or how it compares to your current care, we’d be happy to walk you through it.
-
Yes—while Bloom Women’s Health does not bill insurance for medical visits, you can use your insurance for most lab tests, imaging, and prescriptions.
During your visit, your provider will discuss which labs or imaging are needed and help determine whether you'd prefer to go through insurance or take advantage of our deeply discounted cash-pay pricing. We always aim to offer options that align with your preferences, coverage, and budget.
Here's how it works:
Lab Tests: We partner with trusted labs like LabCorp and can send your orders directly to a lab that accepts your insurance. Alternatively, if you’re uninsured or have a high deductible, you can opt for cash-pay lab pricing through Bloom, often at a fraction of the cost.
Imaging (Ultrasound, Mammogram, DEXA, etc.): If you need imaging, we can refer you to local imaging centers that accept your insurance. You’ll schedule the test separately, and they will bill your insurance directly.
Prescriptions: Any medications your provider prescribes can be filled at your preferred pharmacy and billed through your insurance, just like any traditional provider.
We believe in giving you choices and keeping your care affordable and transparent. Whether you use insurance or opt for our cash-pay options, we’ll help you find the path that works best for you.

At Bloom, your first appointment is intentionally designed as a two-part experience to give you the time, attention, and personalization you deserve—especially when you're seeking care for complex or long-standing concerns.
This structure ensures we can gather comprehensive information, order any needed testing, and create a care plan that’s truly tailored to you.
Here’s what to expect:
Visit 1: Your Comprehensive Intake Appointment
This is a 60–75 minute deep dive with your Bloom provider. We review your complete health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, goals, and past lab work (if available). If needed, we’ll order labs or functional testing and begin building your individualized plan. You'll leave this visit feeling heard, supported, and with a clear next step.Visit 2: Your Personalized Plan Review
Scheduled about 2–3 weeks later, this 45-minute follow-up visit focuses on reviewing your lab or test results in detail and finalizing your care strategy. This is where we fine-tune supplements, discuss long-term hormone optimization, and begin any targeted therapies or lifestyle changes. This two-visit approach allows us to treat the root cause—not just the symptoms—while giving you the space and time to feel truly seen.
We’re committed to offering care that’s thoughtful, thorough, and transformative. That’s what sets Bloom apart.
-
Yes! Bloom Women’s Health offers virtual appointments for many of our services. Our providers are licensed in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
We know life gets busy, and sometimes making it into the clinic isn’t easy—especially if you’re managing work, kids, or postpartum recovery. That’s why we provide convenient, HIPAA-compliant virtual visits to support you wherever you are across Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
Virtual visits are available for:
Hormone follow-ups and treatment adjustments
Lab review and test result consultations
Preconception and fertility support
Functional medicine and supplement planning
Postpartum care
Acute issues that don’t require a physical exam (UTIs, fatigue, skin issues, etc.)
New patient intake visits can also be done virtually, depending on your health concerns and provider preference. If any physical exam or procedure is needed, we’ll schedule an in-person follow-up.
Virtual care at Bloom still means personalized, in-depth visits—just from the comfort of your home.
To schedule a virtual appointment, simply choose the “virtual” option when booking online or let our team know when you call.
-
At Bloom Women’s Health, we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Here’s how it works:
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a late cancellation fee.
No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will also be subject to a fee.
This policy applies to both in-person and virtual visits.
Because we offer longer, in-depth visits and reserve that time just for you, last-minute changes impact our ability to accommodate other patients who may be waiting for care.
-
Yes—Bloom Women’s Health operates exclusively on a membership-based model.
This intentional structure allows us to provide the kind of care women truly need: consistent follow-up, stepwise treatment plans, and a deeper partnership between provider and patient. Unlike conventional clinics where you’re seen once and not again for months, our membership model ensures that your care is ongoing, responsive, and continuously refined.
Why we use a membership-only model:
Consistent Follow-Up Leads to Better Results
True healing and hormonal balance don’t happen in a single visit. Our model ensures that we can reassess your progress, adjust treatment as needed, and support you throughout every phase of your care—not just at the beginning. We Don’t Rush to “Fix Everything” in One Visit
Stepwise care allows us to prioritize what’s most urgent, introduce treatments gradually, monitor your body’s response, and prevent overwhelm. This method leads to more sustainable, long-lasting improvements.Ongoing Support Between Appointments
Membership gives you direct messaging access to your provider for questions, guidance, and adjustments along the way—something that’s rarely available in traditional models.Better Outcomes, More Empowered Patients
By developing an ongoing relationship with your provider, you gain clarity, confidence, and the accountability that leads to real transformation. At Bloom, we believe your health deserves more than a one-time visit. Our membership model is designed to deliver the depth, support, and continuity of care that women’s health truly requires.
-
Yes, memberships at Bloom Women’s Health may be canceled with a 30-day written notice after the initial 6-month commitment period.
We ask for this commitment because our care model is designed around continuity, follow-up, and a stepwise approach to healing—something that requires time, consistency, and partnership.
A few important notes:
A minimum 6-month commitment is required before cancellation is permitted.
All membership fees are nonrefundable, including partial months.
To cancel, please provide a written notice at least 30 days in advance via email or patient portal messaging.
Even if you cancel, we’ll always be here if you choose to return to Bloom in the future. Our goal is to support you in whatever season of health you’re in—with compassion, respect, and care you can trust.
-
Yes—nurse visits are included as part of your Bloom membership. These are quick, focused appointments that don’t require seeing your provider and are designed to support your ongoing care in a convenient and efficient way.
Nurse visits may include:
Lab draws ordered by your provider
Unlimited InBody body composition scans
Simple testing or treatment for common infections (e.g., UTI or yeast infection) when a provider visit is not required
Follow-up instructions or repeat screenings that don’t need a full consultation
These visits are handled by our highly trained medical assistant or nursing team and are included in your membership at no additional cost.
Our goal is to make your care seamless, accessible, and proactive—so you get what you need, when you need it, without unnecessary wait times or extra fees.
-
Yes—absolutely. If you need additional support between your regularly scheduled visits, we’re here for you.
While each membership tier at Bloom includes a set number of follow-up visits to support ongoing care, you can always schedule extra visits as needed for new concerns, acute issues, or deeper check-ins.
Additional visits are available at:
$175 per 30-minute follow-up visit
These visits are ideal for:
New symptoms or concerns that arise between scheduled appointments
More frequent monitoring of complex or evolving health conditions
Acute needs like infections, physical exams, or medication adjustments
Our goal is to provide flexible, responsive care when you need it most—without compromising the quality or continuity of your treatment. Just let us know if you’d like to schedule an additional visit outside your membership plan.
-
Yes, in many cases, Bloom Women’s Health can take over prescribing your current medications—after a comprehensive evaluation by one of our providers.
Because we take a holistic and personalized approach, we don’t automatically refill or renew prescriptions without first understanding your full health picture. Your initial intake visit gives us the opportunity to review your medical history, current medications, labs, and overall treatment goals to ensure we’re continuing (or adjusting) medications in a way that’s safe, effective, and aligned with your body’s needs.
Medications we commonly manage include:
Thyroid medications (e.g., levothyroxine, Armour, NP Thyroid)
Hormone therapy (e.g., estrogen, progesterone, testosterone—oral, topical, or pellets)
Metformin, spironolactone, and other PCOS-related meds
Non-controlled mood, sleep, and energy support medications
Nutraceuticals and supplement-based protocols
Important to note:
We do not prescribe controlled substances or medications for pain management.
We may recommend updated labs before continuing certain prescriptions.
All prescribing is based on a clinical judgment and patient-provider partnership.
Our goal is to ensure your medications are working for you—not against you—and to support your health with the most effective, evidence-based plan possible.
Let us know at your first visit which medications you're currently taking, and we’ll walk you through your options.
